Finding skilled workers is difficult - but building up knowledge is feasible. This is exactly where the compact course "Industrial coating from A to Z" comes in. In just one week, it imparts practical coating technology know-how for career changers and at the same time deepens the knowledge of experienced employees.

With a passion for painting technology, the compact course "Industrial coating from A to Z" explains the basics and interrelationships of industrial coating in a way that is easy to understand for career changers from production, administration or sales and at the same time deepens the knowledge of experienced employees - from A for application processes to Z for understanding interrelationships. The course takes place at the MPA Vocational and Commercial School in Buchs (Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland) - in cooperation with Markus Vüllers Coaching. Markus Vüllers has over 35 years of experience in industrial painting technology and knows from practical experience what really matters: understanding processes, working cleanly, cost awareness, team spirit - and the "why" behind every work step.

Practical learning about what counts in painting technology

In a total of 40 lessons over five days, the most important fundamentals of industrial coating technology are taught, including the basics of paint structure, substrates and pre-treatment processes, application of liquid paints, powder coating, film formation and drying, quality assurance and typical error patterns. In addition to the training program, the course includes coffee, snacks, drinks during breaks, lunch and dinner. Participants will also receive digital training materials. Participants from Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia can apply for educational leave. The MPA Berufs- und Handelsschule is recognized in both federal states as an educational institution under the Education Leave Act. Buchs in the canton of St. Gallen is located in the heart of the Rhine Valley and is easily accessible by train or car - from Zurich, St. Gallen or Feldkirch in around 90 minutes.
