Kunststoff Institut: Symposium on film back injection molding 2025

On November 5 and 6, 2025, the latest developments, practical applications and current research results will be the focus of the Film Back Injection Moulding Conference at the Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid. The symposium offers a platform for professional exchange, exciting discussions and valuable impulses from industry and science. The technology of film back injection moulding for the decoration and functionalization of plastic moulded parts within the injection moulding process is continuously expanding into a wide variety of application areas. The coating of the films, the production of the preforms and the actual back-injection process play an important role in the design and quality of components for interior and exterior applications. In addition to design-oriented and protective aspects, haptic requirements are increasingly being placed on the film and electrical functions are being integrated.
