Kansai Helios: Takeover of Weilburger Coatings completed
Kansai Helios has completed the acquisition of Weilburger Coatings, the entire industrial coatings business of Grebe Holding in Weilburg, Germany.
With the completion of the acquisition, Kansai Helios becomes the new owner of Weilburger Coatings, which consists of group companies in Germany, Italy, France, Turkey, USA, Brazil, India and China. Weilburger Coatings is a group of companies with a rich tradition and a history stretching back more than 120 years. With around 600 employees at seven production sites and several sales offices, the company is successful worldwide. The group has built up well-known brands such as Greblon, Senorail and Senotherm. With a turnover of around 150 million euros, Weilburger Coatings is known for its services in the areas of non-stick coatings, high-temperature coatings, web coatings and specialty coatings.
According to the company, this consolidation is a decisive step towards strengthening Kansai Helios' market position in a broad spectrum of industrial coatings segments and promoting an expanding international presence. By strategically pooling resources and expertise, the company aims not only to further extend its competitive edge, but also to further deepen its connections to global markets and promote sustainable growth and innovation. Weilburger Coatings, headquartered in Weilburg, Germany, consists of 100% of Weilburger Coatings GmbH in Weilburg, Germany and 100% of Weilburger Asia Limited in Hong Kong, China.
