At Automechanika 2026, Kaeser Compressors will showcase energy-efficient compressed air solutions for automotive repair shops and paint shops. The focus will be on compact compressors, demand-based compressed air generation, and reliable compressed air treatment.
The transformation of the automotive industry is also presenting new challenges for repair shops and paint shops. In addition to digitalization and sustainability, the energy efficiency of operational infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important focus. At Automechanika 2026 in Frankfurt, Kaeser will showcase various solutions that enable compressed air to be supplied on demand with minimal energy consumption and maintenance requirements. These include the speed-controlled i.Comp 8/9 reciprocating compressor with an oil-free compressor block. It delivers exactly the amount of compressed air that is actually needed. In the tower versions, the compressor block, compressed air receiver, refrigeration dryer, and Sigma Control system are integrated into a single housing system, ready for connection.
Compressed Air for Workshops and Paint Shops
For automotive shops with higher compressed air demands, Kaeser is also showcasing the SXC complete workshop solution. It combines a screw compressor, refrigeration dryer, compressed air receiver, and electronically controlled condensate drain in a compact footprint. For applications with continuous compressed air demand, the Aircenter SM 13 is available. This complete station combines a fluid-injected screw compressor with a refrigeration dryer and compressed air receiver. A version with a variable-frequency drive enables stepless flow control and adjusts compressed air production to meet current demand. For painting processes, the quality of the compressed air plays a particularly important role, in addition to a reliable supply. With the Kryosec and Secotec refrigeration dryers, as well as corresponding filters, Kaeser offers components for drying and purifying compressed air. The Aquamat i.CF oil-water separator additionally handles condensate treatment. Its Aquamat Control system enables active process control and is designed to make maintenance planning more efficient.
