IST will be presenting a comprehensive portfolio of future-oriented UV and LED curing systems for the packaging industry at Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf. The focus is on energy-efficient technologies, maximum process stability and intelligent analysis tools.

At Interpack 2026, IST Metz will be presenting a comprehensive portfolio of innovative curing solutions for the packaging industry in Hall 8, Stand B48 as part of the PrintCity joint stand. The focus will be on high-performance systems that ensure maximum efficiency, sustainability and process reliability while meeting the increasing demands of modern production environments. These include Freecure, a patented, water-cooled UV system for demanding applications. In addition to homogeneous radiation distribution and high energy efficiency, the particularly high UVC content enables the curing of printing inks and coatings with virtually no photoinitiators. As a result, chemical additives can be significantly reduced or completely avoided, which minimizes migration and opens up new possibilities for sensitive applications - especially in food packaging printing. At the same time, users benefit from stable processes and reduced operating costs.

Next generation of LED UV curing

The LEDcure NX system stands for maximum efficiency and future-proofing in LED UV technology. The combination of modular design, optimized cooling and high power density enables energy-efficient operation with minimal maintenance. In conjunction with the intelligent Smartcure technology, the UV output is controlled depending on the process, which reduces operating costs, increases efficiency and supports predictive maintenance for maximum production reliability. With Thermocure, IST Metz is adding a high-performance solution for thermal processes to its portfolio. The system ensures uniform and targeted heat input and is ideal for applications in which UV and thermal drying are combined. Easy integration into existing systems allows production processes to be designed flexibly and optimum curing results to be achieved. The UV Analyzer enables precise and reliable measurement of the UV dose - even in applications that are difficult to access using conventional measurement methods. The app-based evaluation takes into account the unit type and spectrum for UV and LED systems and ensures high measurement accuracy thanks to reference curves and calibrated measuring strips. The measurement is quick and uncomplicated: Apply measuring strips, irradiate and read out via Bluetooth. The recorded values in mJ/cm² can be analyzed directly and documented for quality assurance.
