Lach Diamant presents the Dia-2200-Mini grinding machine with extended axis angles. The machine is designed for servicing and manufacturing PCD tools for wood, plastics and composites.

With the further developed Dia-2200-Mini, Lach Diamant is responding to the increasing variety of materials in wood and plastics processing. Fiber composite materials such as GRP, CFRP or basalt fabric in particular place increased demands on the tool geometry and therefore on the grinding technology. The machine enables axis angles of more than 45° and thus expands the processing options in the manufacture and maintenance of diamond tools. The universal grinding machine is designed for both new production and servicing. Thanks to the adapted geometry, tools for demanding applications can be precisely machined, for example when cutting composite materials or for high-quality surface requirements in the furniture industry. The achievable cutting qualities reduce the need for reworking.

Precise PCD tool machining for wood, plastic and composites

The Dia-2200-Mini covers a wide range of PCD tools. In addition to milling cutters, scoring cutters and hoggers, saws with a diameter of up to 600 mm can also be processed. Multiple clamping is possible and supports economical machining. The machine has a compact design and is designed for use in tool service and production. Automated programs enable reproducible machining and contribute to process reliability. Lach Diamant will be exhibiting the Dia-2200-Mini at GrindingHub 2026 in Stuttgart in Hall 7, Stand C56.
