Flux battery-powered motor for drum pumps: wireless filling, decanting and decanting
Drum pumps are a practical solution for filling fluids from drums, IBCs, canisters etc. quickly and cleanly. The new 420 W battery motor FBM 4100 from Flux weighs 2.8 kg including batteries and can also be used in places without a power socket, for example in electroplating.
With pumps for a wide range of fluids, the new battery-powered motor from Flux for drum pumps is suitable for areas without a power socket, e.g. in sectors such as construction, industry, food or agriculture and can also withstand corrosive media in the chemical or electroplating industries. Intelligent, patent-pending functions such as dry-running protection and programmable batch filling for dosing predefined flow rates without a flow meter extend the range of applications. The speed can be selected in 10% increments via an LCD display control and up to 6 filling quantities can be programmed and called up as often as required. The motor can be used with Flux pumps from the F 400 series in various material versions, for example for fluids such as AdBlue, pesticide concentrates, concrete additives, edible oils or chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, etc. For more viscous media, it can be combined with progressive cavity pumps from the F 570 series.
Compatible battery motor for drum pumps
With an optionally available adapter, the motor is compatible with pumping units from other manufacturers and extends their range of applications. The brushless, maintenance-free and highly efficient FBM 4100 motor achieves a delivery rate of up to 84 l/min in a typical drum pump configuration. One battery charge enables the emptying of 11 200 l drums or 2.2 1000 l IBCs in practical use with hose and nozzle at 80% speed setting. Depending on the version, the scope of delivery includes two 18V, 4Ah Einhell PXC batteries, a twin charger and, optionally, an adapter for the drum pump connection of other manufacturers in addition to the motor. Special covers protect the batteries from splash water and aggressive vapors. The portfolio also offers pre-configured sets with pump, 2 m long delivery hose and nozzle. The battery motor is available in IP24 with open cooling by ambient air and as a closed IP44 version with reduced power. The latter also works under harsh conditions, e.g. when pumping hydrochloric acid. In addition to the Core version, both models are also available in a Pro version, which offers a 5-pin plug connection for external start/stop and a 24 V power supply for the direct connection of peripheral devices such as level sensors or flow meters.
