Flux: Empty container with dry installed hygiene pump

IBCs and other containers such as bag-in-box containers or storage containers have an outlet opening at the bottom of the tank, through which the container can be emptied by free discharge or via a container pump connected there. The pump experts at Flux-Geräte GmbH have now developed the compact Miniflux sanitary container pump in a hygienic design made of stainless steel (V4A), which is simply connected to the outlet nozzle of the container using a 2" clamp or an S60x6 connection adapter. The dry-installed, low dead space pump has minimal contact with the medium and can be dismantled in 20 seconds without tools for easy cleaning. It has no greased seals - so there is no risk of grease being carried over into the medium. Depending on the medium to be pumped and the drive motor used, it delivers up to 240 l/min and pumps media with a viscosity of up to 1000 mPascal, even against closed valves or taps.

The compact pump weighs just 1.8 kg with an overall length of 199.5 mm and can pump media up to 100 °C. The pump is suitable for continuous operation. The pump is suitable for continuous operation, conditionally suitable for dry running and complies with FDA regulations. The appropriate motor is connected to the bearing flange with a union nut. The drive motor is selected to suit the medium and the environment, e.g. as a commutator motor, brushless or compressed air version. Seals made of FKM or EPDM and a rotor made of ETFE guarantee sealing and conveying even with more aggressive fluids. The 1 1/2 inch clamp pressure connection fits standard pipes and hoses. Depending on the angle of inclination, IBCs can be emptied down to 1% residual volume. The delivery pressure varies with the selected motor version and is up to 13 meters water column.
