Excelitas announces consolidation plans for Noblelight

Excelitas Technologies intends to strengthen Noblelight's activities in Germany through consolidation. The four Noblelight production sites are to be merged into a single expanded location.
Following the acquisition of Noblelight from Heraeus in January 2024, Excelitas Technologies is working rapidly to optimize operations and increase efficiency. By the end of 2027, the four production facilities for the development and manufacture of Noblelight products currently located in the Rhine-Main area will be merged into a single expanded site in the same region. Excelitas is expected to invest more than $20 million in this initiative to improve operational efficiency.
Excelitas currently manufactures Noblelight products such as UV LEDs and UV lamps, light sources for optical analysis, and infrared emitters and systems at four locations in the Rhine-Main area. The new site will be the center for specialty light sources and will include manufacturing, research and development and administration. "We are strengthening our operational position for the continued production of Noblelight technology in Germany," says Roland Eckl, Managing Director of Excelitas Noblelight. "This investment will make us more uniform, more efficient and ultimately more competitive."
