Change of name: Sames Kremlin and Intec Sames-Kremlin become Sames

With the change of name to Sames, the company wants to underline its fundamental guiding principles. At the same time, the new name combined with the new logo reduces the complexity of the Group's various brands: the historical brands Kremlin, Sames, Rexson and Intec become Sames. The acronym Sames stands for "Simply applying most efficient solutions". Since 1925, the only French manufacturer of innovative paint and sealant application solutions has been continuously expanding in a wide range of industrial markets worldwide. With the acquisition of Intec in 2020, its expertise has expanded to include industrial bonding technology. This year, the group will focus its activities on further innovation and sustainability. Sames supports its customers' entire process chain, from the bonding of components to the protection and finishing of surfaces to the finished end product.

The Sames product portfolio consists of the following series, which builds on the historical brands: Sames Intec for the application of high-viscosity materials, Sames Kremlin for conventional wet paint atomization, Sames Nanocoat for atomization using bells, Sames Inocoat for the atomization of powder coatings, and Sames Services for services. According to the company, the new name means one thing above all for the German site in Erftstadt near Cologne: "With the planned merger of the two companies Sames Kremlin GmbH and Intec Sames-Kremlin at the end of the year, it is not only our employees who will benefit from simplified corporate processes. The synergy effects in the development and production of complementary coating and adhesive solutions will also ultimately benefit our customers and promise holistic concepts for success. The new corporate mission statement behind Sames serves as a guide to even more innovative, efficient, and socially and ecologically sustainable corporate activities," says Dirk Löchner, CEO Germany.
