BASF Coatings presents sustainability target picture

BASF Coatings presents its sustainability target image, underlining its claim to actively contribute to the sustainable transformation of the coatings industry. Instead of viewing challenges as obstacles, the company sees them as opportunities to take responsibility and implement targeted measures. The target vision is intended to promote industry-wide dialog, cooperation and the development of shared visions for the future. It is divided into six fields of action that focus on value creation and innovation. BASF Coatings' current initiatives serve as concrete contributions to the implementation of this vision.

"Our sustainability vision is not just a concept; it is a call to action for the entire industry," says Dr. Katharina Fechtner, Sustainability and Innovation Manager at BASF Coatings. Following an internal introduction, the sustainability target image is now also being presented externally. Dr. Fechtner presented the vision to the public for the first time at Hannover Messe 2025, focusing in particular on its relevance for the automotive industry. Further impetus will follow on June 17 at the Innovation Roundtable in Bergamo, Italy, where the focus will be on promoting sustainable innovations.
