BASF Coatings enters into strategic partnership with Toyota
BASF Coatings and Toyota Motor Europe have signed an agreement to develop the Toyota Body&Paint program for Europe. The strategic partnership will support the development of the Body&Paint program and is based on sustainable refinishing solutions.
The agreement between BASF Coatings and Toyota Motor Europe is intended to form the basis for a long-term strategic cooperation between the two companies for the Toyota and Lexus brands. Under the partnership, refinish coatings from the premium brands Glasurit and R-M will be used in the European market. The Toyota Body&Paint program will be designed with the help of BASF's Body Shop Boost repair shop consulting service and will give participating repair shops access to the cloud-based Refinity platform for digital color matching, business and training solutions. Through the collaboration, BASF supports its partner Toyota in achieving individual sustainability goals while ensuring the highest quality standards in paint work on Toyota's premium vehicles.
