New CEO of the Bürkert Group

At the beginning of April, Georg Stawowy took office as Bürkert's new Managing Director - he succeeds the previous CEO Heribert Rohrbeck, who retired. After nine years with the Lapp Group, Georg Stawowy is now responsible for Bürkert's strategic orientation and the continuation of its growth course.
As the new CEO at Bürkert, Georg Stawowy has been able to gather multi-layered experience in different areas and industries in the course of his career to date and has held various management positions at companies such as Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, the Freudenberg Group and most recently at the Lapp Group. Most recently, the 53-year-old worked for cable and connection systems manufacturer Lapp for over 9 years as the board member responsible for innovation and technology. There, he was responsible for innovation, product management and development, the supply chain including production and purchasing, as well as IT and digitalization activities. In addition, Georg Stawowy was responsible for the North American business and activities in electromobility. A good basis for the upcoming time as CEO at Bürkert Fluid Control Systems. "Bürkert has a great, strongly value-oriented culture and is known far beyond the region as an attractive employer. I am looking forward to being able to shape things in this environment," Georg Stawowy reports on his start at the international fluidics specialist as well as his new role as CEO, also highlighting the company's advantages.
Building on successful years First and foremost, Georg Stawowy now wants to continue writing Bürkert's success story in his new position: "I am coming to a well-ordered company, after very successful years. This is a special responsibility and challenge, but above all it creates the self-confidence in the organization to master the tasks ahead." For the new CEO, the focus in this context is primarily on the topic of digital business transformation, so that Bürkert can continue to exist in the future with the changed requirements on the market: "We must grasp the opportunities and implications of digitization in all corners of the organization and tackle them courageously. And above all, this means not only 'taking along' the employees, but also assuming responsibility together. Bürkert's future viability is in our own hands," Georg Stawowy summarizes his outlook for Bürkert. The top priority is to continue to be a reliable partner for Fluid Control Systems and to make ideas flow together with Bürkert partners and employees.
