Bodo Möller Chemie and Henkel cooperate

Bodo Möller Chemie is now distributing Henkel's Sonderhoff Formed-In-Place Foam Gaskets (FIPFG) technology in 28 countries. It enables high-precision sealing applications with innovative 2K material systems and efficient mixing and dosing systems.
The strategic partnership between Henkel AG & Co. KGaA and the Bodo Möller Chemie Group focuses on 2K sealing foams based on polyurethane and silicone, which have been specially developed for complex geometries, tight tolerances and demanding industrial requirements. The semi-automatic or fully automatic application using mixing and dosing technology enables seamless, contour-accurate application directly onto the component surface. This results in high-precision foam gaskets with reliable protection against moisture, dust, chemicals and environmental influences.
Precise sealing solutions thanks to FIPFG technology
The technology is convincing in numerous sectors such as the automotive industry, electronics, medical technology and aviation thanks to its high resilience, reusability of the sealed housings and integration into automated production processes. The precise material application lowers consumption, reduces waste and improves sustainability. "The combination of Henkel's leading FIPFG technology and our application expertise creates significant added value for our partners in Europe," says Frank Haug, CEO of Bodo Möller Chemie. Henkel also emphasizes the importance of the partnership for future-oriented, sustainable sealing solutions.
