Pfeiffer Vacuum, one of the world's leading suppliers of vacuum and leak detection solutions, supports the plus-MINT program of the Verein zur MINT-Talentförderung e. V. with € 15,000 per year.

The plus-MINT program is developing a technical education program based on the curriculum for the plus-MINT young talent centers, which in a further step can also be implemented for all general education schools in Germany. Technical innovations are a key to a country's economic success. The declared goal of plus-MINT is to provide companies with a sufficient number of committed and highly trained young people who want to take on precisely these challenges and find answers to the questions of the future. "Science and technology play an important role in our ever-changing world," says Dr. Britta Giesen, CEO of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG. "As a leading supplier of vacuum technology, we have decades of experience in the scientific field. We are proud to support the plus-MINT program and look forward to an exciting and promising collaboration."

The core of the plus-MINT program is bringing together outstanding talent in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (MINT) at selected plus-MINT boarding schools. Dr. Peter Rösner, chairman of the Association for the Promotion of MINT Talent, emphasizes, "By bringing top talents from all over Germany to learn together at the plus-MINT performance centers, a whole new group dynamic is created at the participating boarding schools." This best possible support for young people in the areas of expertise, communication skills, value formation and personality development is intended not only to serve Germany as a business and research location, but also to ensure a sustainable approach to our planet for future generations. "We are pleased that with Pfeiffer Vacuum we now have an innovative partner at our side with whom we will continue to drive our program forward," added Dr. Peter Rösner.
