Flir Si1-LD acoustic camera for detecting compressed air leaks

The new Flir Si1-LD acoustic camera offers improved detection and quantification capabilities compared to the Flir Si124-LD Plus, as well as a higher upper cut-off frequency range. In compressed air systems, typically 25-30% of air is lost through leaks, leading to correspondingly higher energy bills, costly unplanned production downtime, shorter compressor life - and even the purchase of additional compressor capacity, which in turn leads to increased maintenance costs for these replacement units. The new Flir Si1-LD takes advantage of ultrasonic technology to detect leaks with improved image sensitivity and at an affordable price.
