Michael Kerschbaum has been the new Sales Manager for Components and Process Air Technology at BerlinerLuft Technik GmbH since July 1, 2025. The 48-year-old brings more than 25 years of experience and expertise in sales as well as 15 years in the HVAC industry, which he now wants to put to good use for BerlinerLuft Technik.

One of Michael Kerschbaum's goals is to establish BerlinerLuft Technik even more firmly on the market as a specialist in air conditioning and ventilation technology and to make it an important link in ventilation technology for all players. "With Michael Kerschbaum, we have a real industry and sales professional in our ranks and are delighted to have this new face in our team. We extend a warm welcome to him. With his many years of experience, he not only enriches our team, but is also a competent contact for our customers," explains Dr. Jan Pomplun, CEO and IT & Chief Digital Officer of BerlinerLuft Technik GmbH.

Michael Kerschbaum has been active in sales for more than 25 years in various companies and positions. He has also been at home in technical building equipment (TGA) for 15 years. For the past six years, the 48-year-old has been Head of Sales at Strulik GmbH. As the new Head of Sales in the Components and Process Air Technology division at BerlinerLuft Technik, he also wants to tackle current demands and challenges, such as digitalization. "As a team, we are currently working intensively on internal structures and processes to achieve even greater sustainability," emphasizes Michael Kerschbaum. Michael Kerschbaum replaces his predecessor Frank Poppe (59), who has held the position of Sales Manager for Components and Process Air Technology since 2020. Frank Poppe left BerlinerLuft Technik GmbH at his own request on August 31, 2025 to take on new professional challenges. "We would like to thank Frank Poppe for his dedication and commitment and wish him all the best for the future," says Dr. Jan Pomplun.
