They all need process air - and in very different forms, such as for painting, drying or other processes. The use of energy-rich process exhaust air creates sustainability. At PaintExpo 2024, BerlinerLuft-Technik will therefore be presenting its diverse solutions for ventilation technology in this segment.

At PaintExpo 2024, BerlinerLuft will be showcasing high-performance and industrial fans, sound insulation solutions and ventilation units for process air, among other things. Two large exhibits are particular eye-catchers at the trade fair stand (Hall 2, Stand 2524): an air handling unit from the HygCond series in an explosion-proof process air version and a design consisting of an industrial fan and silencer, which is being produced for the trade fair for the first time. "At PaintExpo, we are clearly focusing on process air technology and showcasing various solutions for system construction in industrial painting technology. Our solutions are used wherever robust system technology is required for high temperatures, high pressure or in environments with aggressive media," explains Frank Poppe, Sales Manager for ventilation components, fans and process air at BerlinerLuft Technik GmbH. The special design on display is a combination of various devices and components from process air technology: an industrial fan, air duct components and duct silencers as well as a baffle unit in the welded ventilation duct. The high-performance fan has a swing-out mechanism for easy maintenance and cleaning. The fan impeller with special impeller geometry guarantees optimum efficiency and high energy efficiency. For demonstration purposes, the impeller is also available in three possible coating variants for non-stick and corrosion protection.

The baffle unit for noise reduction is equipped with extendable KSDIX-AI/AIX sound-absorbing baffles. The absorber and resonance versions are designed for fans in building ventilation systems with large cross-sections, high pressures and large air volumes, such as those required in filter systems, compressors, pumps or blowers. The industrial fan and silencer are connected by welded air duct components and pipe silencers. Both the fan and the components are designed for easy maintenance and cleaning and are available as explosion-proof versions (ATEX-compliant in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU). Another exhibit on the stand is an air conditioning and ventilation unit from the HygCond series for process air and ATEX applications and is therefore also suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The air handling unit on display at PaintExpo is a weatherproof version for exhaust air. The hygienic version in stainless steel is designed for special applications in demanding areas such as clean rooms, laboratories and the chemical industry. This version is permanently resistant to many aggressive media. The high-performance fan has a swing-out mechanism for easy maintenance and cleaning. The swing-out fan, heat exchanger and other components of the device are coated to protect the conveyed process air.
