DFO with two events in fall 2025

The German Research Association for Surface Treatment e V. (DFO) is organizing two conferences in autumn 2025 that will address current topics and developments in surface technology: Sustainable Surface Technology and the first DFO Agricultural and Construction Machinery Forum.
In fall 2025, the DFO is hosting two specialist events on current topics and developments in surface technology. The first conference, entitled "Sustainable surface technology - challenges for the future", will take place in Münster from September 16 to 17, 2025. It is being jointly organized by three DFO technical committees for the first time and is dedicated to pressing issues relating to environmental compatibility, resource consumption and future requirements for industrial coating processes. The focus will include the reduction or avoidance of pollutants such as PFAS, climate-neutral production processes, innovative pre-treatments and material-efficient coatings. The venue is the Best Western Premier Seehotel Krautkrämer on Lake Hiltrup. A reduced participation fee is available for early bookers until August 4. Room contingents are available until July 31st, and free cancelation is possible until August 18th.
First DFO Agricultural and Construction Machinery Forum
The first DFO "Agricultural and Construction Machinery Forum" will take place in Mannheim on September 30 and October 1, 2025. This new conference is aimed at experts from the construction and agricultural machinery industry. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the John Deere plant in Mannheim. Numerous presentations will be given along the process chain from pre-treatment to the finished coating. Both conferences are characterized by an independent and high-quality technical concept. They offer participants from industry and research the opportunity to discuss current challenges and solutions in the field of surface technology. In addition to DFO members, external interested parties are also welcome. Further information, programs and registration options can be found on the DFO website.
