The new Steel Matt metal structure from Pfleiderer, which looks like brushed stainless steel and impresses both visually and to the touch, was awarded the Plus X Award in two categories.

After Pfleiderer's surface material was already honored with the renowned Red Dot Design Award in July of this year, it has now received the Plus X Award - twice over. The world's largest innovation prize for technology, sport and lifestyle honors brands for the quality and innovative edge of their products. In the "Building Materials" category, the Steel Matt composite structure was able to impress and emerged as the winner "due to its outstanding quality, which is reflected in its durability and resistance to the stresses and strains of everyday life", according to the jury's statement.

Steel Matt also impressed with its appearance and practicality: "Its appealing design combines aesthetics with modern elegance and thus contributes to an attractive design. The ease of use of this structure is ensured by its simple installation and maintenance, making it a practical choice for construction projects." As part of the Plus X AwardS ceremony, those products that were able to impress in the most award categories within their category can also look forward to receiving the "Best Product of the Year 2023/2024" award. Pfleiderer also emerged victorious here with Steel Matt and was able to accept the prestigious special award - a double success for the filigree surface structure.
