Rehau presents new edgeband for structured surfaces

Whether in the kitchen or in the living area, natural or as a material inspired by nature - the demand for structured surfaces made of ceramics, stone and concrete is unbroken. In everyday use, the materials must be convincing not only visually but also functionally. This is where Rehau comes in with its new impact-resistant edgeband Raukantex Pigmento: Thanks to its novel formulation, the edgeband can reproduce a large number of different looks and feels and also create the required structures in the bevel area. The disadvantages of natural materials, such as high weight or susceptibility to splintering, are eliminated. The zero-joint variant of Raukantex Pigmento also brings improved UV stability and dispenses with adhesives, so that yellowing is ruled out. At the same time, the edgeband adheres very well even in hot-air systems and impresses with its optimum surface smoothness.

Raukantex Pigmento not only has outstanding material properties, but is also impressive in terms of design. The milling radius, which is also pigmented, creates a frameless and jointless appearance. The transition from panel to edge thus becomes practically invisible.
