At Oftec Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG. Dr. Philipp Kronenberg took over as Managing Director on January 1, 2025. He will shape the strategic management of the company together with Marco Ebbinghaus. In his role as Plant Manager, Sascha Hüskes will continue to develop the Hagenbach site operationally

With the appointment of Dr. Philipp Kronenberg, Oftec is relying on the next generation of the Ebbinghaus family of entrepreneurs. Dr. Philipp Kronenberg, husband of Katrin Kronenberg (née Ebbinghaus), has a doctorate in engineering and extensive expertise in the fields of technology and management. Together with Marco Ebbinghaus, he will continue the company's vision and focus on growth, innovation and sustainability.

Generational change at the Ebbinghaus Group

Marco Ebbinghaus, who has built up Ebbinghaus Verbund together with Jörg Schröer since 2002, sees the expansion of the management team as an important step: "With Philipp and the new generation, we are creating the ideal basis for leading the company successfully into the future. Tradition and innovation will remain our driving forces."

Ebbinghaus family continues to develop the company

In addition to Dr. Philipp Kronenberg, Katrin and Alexander Ebbinghaus are also making a significant contribution to the further development of the Ebbinghaus Group. Katrin Kronenberg has been managing Ebbtron GmbH & Co KG in Solingen since 2022 and has successfully geared the company towards digitalization and sustainability. As an authorized signatory and plant manager at Ebbinghaus Styria Coating GmbH in Graz, Alexander Ebbinghaus is responsible for strategically important projects in the areas of sales, logistics and process optimization. Together with Alexander Bachl, he is strengthening the Austrian site in the long term.
