Adler showed water-based coatings at Ligna 2023

From the USA to New Zealand, from Asia to Northern Europe - the audience at the Adler booth at Ligna 2023 was more international than ever before. More and more processors are turning to environmentally friendly water-based coatings and will not only find the high-quality products at Adler, but also competent training and advice for the conversion process. For this reason, Adler technicians could also be found at Ligna not only at their own booth, but also at those of equipment manufacturers, where they demonstrated the performance of Adler waterborne coatings directly at the coating line - live and in color. "In industrial processes, our products and the plant technology must be perfectly matched, which is why we often work closely with the respective plant manufacturers to jointly develop the optimum solution for the customer," explains Reinhard Huber from Adler's Application Technology.

Adler's booth presented itself like a gallery of high-quality sample surfaces that invited visitors to look at, feel and marvel at them. A particular eye-catcher was the new CrystalClear technology, explains Klaus Vettori, Sales Manager for the international window industry and wood construction at Adler: "With this new varnish technology, we achieve an incredibly natural, crystal-clear look on wood windows and front doors, as is otherwise only known from oiled surfaces - but at the same time the high durability of a varnish." Inspiration was provided by the new trend color shades for the metallic wood stain Lignovit Platinum or the creative effect lacquer surfaces from the furniture sector, in addition to which innovative coating technologies such as CCI, Excimer or digital printing provided plenty to talk about. Klaus Vettori, together with his team, looks back on busy and varied trade show days: "It is one of Adler's great strengths that we offer a complete range of coatings for all wood processors - from carpenters and woodworkers to industrial window and furniture manufacturers. We were able to successfully showcase this strength once again at Ligna 2023!"
