B-TEC introduces parts cleaning device for flammable cleaning media
With the new M-1200-G, B-TEC presents a manual, ATEX-compliant parts cleaning device that has been specially developed for use with flammable cleaning media and meets the highest safety standards.
The new ATEX-compliant B-TEC M-1200-G parts washer focuses in particular on user protection: integrated glove portals mean that direct contact with cleaning agents is no longer necessary. This not only ensures clean working, but also guarantees maximum safety - especially in potentially explosive atmospheres. This is because the M-1200-G is ATEX-compliant and therefore approved for use in Zone 1. A key feature of the appliance is the large viewing window made of laminated safety glass. It offers an optimum view of the workpiece and enables precise and controlled cleaning. The interior is also equipped with a flexible parts holder that can be both rotated and removed. This means that workpieces up to 500 millimetres in length can be easily fixed in place - and, if required, parts up to 1200 millimetres can even be cleaned without a holder.
The appliance also impresses with its sophisticated technical features. A continuous brush with adjustable flow rate allows the cleaning agent to be applied in a targeted manner. A movable fresh rinse nozzle ensures clean rinsing, while blow-out and blow-off guns dry the workpiece directly in the appliance. The whole thing is conveniently controlled using a foot pedal, which ensures ergonomic and safe working. Another plus point: the integrated exhaust air system reliably protects against solvent vapors. As an option, the device can be equipped with a pneumatic exhaust air slide valve in ATEX design, which further reduces emissions and saves solvents at the same time. The M-1200-G is particularly versatile when it comes to selecting cleaning media. It is suitable for highly flammable liquids of category 2 and 3 in accordance with the GHS/CLP regulation, as well as for water-based cleaning agents or VOC-reduced products. The all-stainless steel construction underlines the durability and robustness of the appliance, which is therefore able to meet even the highest industrial requirements.
