Acp shows fully automatic deburring and cleaning with CO2 granules
Acp Systems will demonstrate its new development for fully automated, dry deburring and cleaning of components made of metals and plastics at DeburringExpo 2023. This enables burrs and impurities to be removed in a process-safe manner.
With a completely new development, Acp Systems is setting new standards in the fully automated, dry deburring and cleaning of components made of metals and plastics. The innovative, inline QuattroClean power technology uses recycled liquid carbon dioxide as an abrasive processing medium. It is compressed inline into fine snow granules, accelerated to supersonic speed by compressed air and blasted onto the surface to be machined. There, the granularCO2 unfolds four effects.
The deburring effect is based primarily on the mechanical force of the impacting granules and the brittleness of the burrs due to the strong cooling. It is sufficient to reliably remove burrs from metallic workpieces and machined plastic or injection-molded parts in automated production.
