Standox training video for car refinishers
Standox supports refinishers with a Standovision training video that explains the processes involved in refinishing and polishing with Standocryl VOC Performance Pro Clear Coat K9590. The new training video is designed to help refinishers achieve high-quality results every time and right from the start.

For a first-class refinish, Standocryl VOC Performance Pro Clearcoat K9590 should only be used in conjunction with Standox Performance Blend 5730. This spray-on thinner is available as a container and in a spray can. "During the sanding process, it is important to use a finer abrasive to even out the run-off zone right up to the polished area of the body part to ensure a smooth transition. This is crucial for the clearcoat finish," emphasizes Erik Faßbender.
Painters should apply Standocryl VOC Performance Pro Clearcoat K9590 in one spray pass over the repair area, allow it to flash off and then apply the second spray pass up to the polished area. Standox Performance Blend 5730 spray thinner should then be applied in thin coats to the run-off zone of the clearcoat up to the polished surface. The Standocryl VOC Performance Pro clearcoat K9590 offers good flow, ensures a high-gloss surface and can be easily applied in two sprays and only a short flash-off time due to its low spray viscosity.
