The Dürr Group is donating 65,000 euros to charitable organizations at Christmas time. The company is thus continuing the practice of previous years and, true to the motto "Donations instead of gifts", is once again foregoing Christmas presents for customers and business partners.

Of Dürr's Christmas donations, € 30,000 each will go to UNICEF for children's aid projects in South Africa and Vietnam and to Aktion Mensch, which campaigns for an inclusive society in Germany. In addition, a relief campaign by the Stuttgarter Nachrichten newspaper will also be supported. Dr. Jochen Weyrauch, CEO of Dürr AG: "As a technology leader, we drive innovation forward every day. But for a sustainable society, improvements in social areas are needed in addition to technical progress. That is why we regularly support the work of charitable organizations through donations. With this year's Christmas donation to UNICEF, we want to help improve the living conditions of children in South Africa and Vietnam. At the same time, we are supporting important inclusion projects in Germany through Aktion Mensch to enable people with disabilities to lead a self-determined life." The Dürr Group is also contributing € 5,000 to the "Christmas campaign". The charity campaign organized by Stuttgarter Nachrichten helps people from the Stuttgart region who have fallen on hard times.

About UNICEF

UNICEF is active in over 190 countries worldwide. For more than 75 years, the United Nations Children's Fund has been using effective programs and political work to ensure that children are well cared for, can go to school and are protected from violence. The Dürr Group's donation will go towards an education program for girls from South Africa, which will give them an insight into the professional fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. On the other hand, a project to install solar systems in rural Vietnam will be supported in order to improve the energy and water supply for the families living there and at the same time contribute to climate protection.

About Aktion Mensch

Aktion Mensch, formerly Aktion Sorgenkind, has been committed to an inclusive society for 60 years, i.e. for people with and without disabilities to live together as a matter of course. At the heart of the charitable organization is a social lottery that has already donated more than five billion euros to social projects throughout Germany. Aktion Mensch also provides information on the topic of inclusion through campaigns and activities.
