Axalta is official sponsor of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team
Axalta, as the world's leading supplier of liquid and powder coatings, supports the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team as official sponsor of the MotoGP World Championship for the 2023 season.
The partnership between Axalta and the team in the premier class of motorcycle racing is now in its 14th consecutive year. This year, the riders will compete in 21 Grands Prix in 18 countries around the world. For the first time, sprint races will also be held this season. A maximum of 12 points can be scored in these races, which are held on Grand Prix Saturdays. The racing season begins from March 24 to 26 at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal, and ends on November 26, 2023, at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. According to the sponsorship agreement, Cromax, one of Axalta's premium refinish brands, will be used on the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team's team trailers with its high-performance Ultra Performance Energy System. These trailers will be used to transport the legendary Yamaha YZR-M1 motorcycles during the season. The Cromax paint system is also used on key equipment in the pit lane, such as the mechanics' toolboxes and workbenches.

The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ Team has two extremely talented motorcycle riders in Fabio Quartararo (No. 20) and Franco Morbidelli (No. 21). Both riders participated in the 2022 season and remain at the wheel this year.
