New µm precision indicator Sensikator from Atorn for measuring the smallest parts

The new Atorn Sensikator precision indicator from Hahn + Kolb can measure minimal lengths in the thousandth of a millimeter range. Its measuring range extends from 0.001 mm to 0.1 mm - ideal for measuring tasks on sensitive surfaces, for example in electronics.
The Atorn Sensikator from Hahn + Kolb is the tool of choice for testing the smallest length deviations in the measuring stand. Its extremely low measuring force of 0.14 N prevents damage to scratch- and pressure-sensitive materials. Thanks to this, users can use it to measure even the smallest parts made of soft aluminum or copper, high-gloss surfaces and battery foils without damage in the µm range. The Atorn Sensikator also prevents damage to refractory coatings or titanium screws during the measuring process.
For absolutely reliable results, the new precision indicator is protected against impacts, vibrations or shocks. It also has a ceramic ball as a measuring insert. It is more wear-resistant than steel, anti-magnetic, anti-static and non-conductive. A fine glass pointer reduces the inertia of the precision pointer to a minimum and the mechanical number scale simplifies the reading of clear values in 1 µm increments. Thanks to minimal tolerances, deviations in the concentricity of axes can also be detected quickly.
