Helmut Fischer presents new measuring devices for tactile and non-destructive coating thickness measurement of magnetizable and non-magnetizable base materials. The DMP devices convince with a robust and modern design and are equipped with digital probes and a new software for extensive evaluations.

The new DMP series is now available in the tactile product portfolio of measurement technology specialist Helmut Fischer. The coating thickness gauges shine in a modern look and come with numerous new features: all-aluminum housing with IP64, soft bumper against falls, scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant display with Gorilla Glass, limit value monitoring via light, sound and vibration, replaceable and quickly rechargeable battery or even the simplest data transfer via USB-C and Bluetooth. The measurement technology devices of the DMP series find their use for almost every measurement requirement in numerous industries. The Dualscope, Deltascope and Isoscope models are specialists in their respective application areas - the measurement of electrically non-conductive layers on non-magnetizable, electrically conductive base materials or the measurement of non-magnetizable layers on magnetizable base materials. The Dualscope combines both applications and thus offers maximum flexibility in just one instrument. Also part of the DMP instrument series are the Feritscope DMP30 for precise measurement of ferrite content and the SR-Scope DMP30 for reliable measurement of copper thickness on printed circuit boards.

All DMP instruments are available with Fischer's new digital probes, which impress with outstanding accuracy, maximum repeatability, and smart and future-proof connectivity via USB-C interface and Bluetooth. With the help of the F-Adapter, users can continue to use the full performance of Fischer's analog probes and thus benefit from the largest probe portfolio on the market. The new Tactile Suite software is the most intuitive and advanced software in tactile coating thickness measurement. It features a modern design, innovative user guidance and extensive functionalities. These include automatic device and probe recognition, immediate data transfer to Excel in real time via USB-C and Bluetooth, and extensive options for conveniently creating reports and evaluations. The DMP series will be presented live for the first time at the European Coatings Show 2023 (March 28-30). At the leading trade fair for the coatings and paint industry, interested parties can extensively test the devices, probes and software in Hall 4 at Stand 654 and see for themselves on site.
