The Hikmicro E02 is a lightweight, affordable and easy-to-use thermal imaging camera for the construction, HVAC and home sectors as well as for electrical thermography. Highlights of the camera are the image enhancement technology "SuperIR", a battery life of up to 8 hours and a comprehensive warranty package.

The user-friendly Hikmicro E02 is a simple and fast temperature measurement tool at an affordable price. The thermal imaging camera is capable of detecting various thermal anomalies such as missing insulation, air leaks, water damage, HVAC problems and electrical and mechanical failures. The built-in laser pointer helps to pinpoint the measurements. The Hikmicro E02 is equipped with a VOx detector with a pure infrared resolution of 96 x 96 pixels at fixed focus (scaling to 240 x 240 possible with SuperIR). With its thermal accuracy of ±2%, it enables a sharp color display at a refresh rate of 20 Hz for a smooth image even when panning or viewing moving objects. Its measuring range extends from -20°C to 400°C with a central measuring point and maximum and minimum values. The emissivity can be individually adjusted to the material to be inspected to ensure precise temperature measurements of different surfaces. The E02 thermal imaging camera uses Hikmicro's "SuperIR" image enhancement technology to scale the thermal resolution from 96 x 96 (9,216) pixels to 240 x 240 (57,600) pixels. With its built-in IR sensor, a 0.3 MP camera for the visible range and its NETD < 50 mK, the E02 delivers very good image quality.

The camera has a 4 GB flash memory for approx. 3,000 images and three measurement presets: central measuring point, hot spot and cold spot. Temperature alarms help to detect abnormal areas immediately. Users can select the best color scale and fusion mode for their work from four color palettes. Thanks to its IP54 certification, the E02 series is robust and durable and can withstand drop tests from a height of up to 2 meters. Its built-in lithium-ion battery enables continuous operation for up to eight hours and can be recharged in just three hours. Users can evaluate the thermograms using the free Hikmicro Analyzer software, which can be used to display, edit and analyze the radiometric thermal images and videos. It supports batch processing and enables particularly fast report generation through the use and customization of templates. In addition to the statutory warranty, the manufacturer offers a voluntary warranty of two years on the battery, three years on the entire device and ten years on the camera sensor. The scope of delivery also includes a USB-A to USB-C cable, the quick start guide and a calibration certificate.
