Compact, intuitive thermal imaging camera B01 from Hikmicro

The B01 is a lightweight, affordable and easy-to-use thermal imaging camera for electrothermography, industrial and construction applications. Highlights of the camera include simultaneous real-time transmission of the radiometric image via WLAN to up to three mobile devices (tablets or smartphones), Hikmicro's "SuperIR" image enhancement technology, a high frame rate of 25Hz for smooth measurements even when panning or viewing moving targets, and the comprehensive warranty package. The new Hikmicro B01 is designed for easy and fast temperature measurements in various applications. It is suitable for building inspections, finding missing insulation, air leaks, water leaks, maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting and industrial inspections. It can also reliably detect minor thermal anomalies caused by electrical or mechanical factors. Thermal imager is equipped with a high-sensitivity VOx detector (NETD < 40 mK) with a resolution of 256 x 192 pixels at fixed focus. With its thermal accuracy of maximum ±2 °C or ±2%, it provides a high-resolution color display with a central measuring point and maximum and minimum values at a high frame rate of 25 Hz. The measuring range extends from -20°C to 550°C.

Hikmicro's "SuperIR" image enhancement technology allows thermal images to be upscaled to 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels) for live viewing at the fast frame rate of 25 Hz. The stored thermal images then also have the higher resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Connection to mobile devices via the built-in WLAN and the free Hikmicro Viewer app allow simultaneous live streaming of the thermal image to up to three mobile devices. Remote image editing and transfer of images stored on the thermal imager to a tablet or smartphone also runs via WLAN for timely sharing of images with colleagues or customers. In addition, when combined with the Hikmicro Viewer app, the B01 supports streaming to a computer or notebook via the "Cast Screen" feature. The camera has 16 GB of flash memory for approximately 90,000 images, as well as measurement presets of central measurement point, hot point, cold point and user-defined point. Users can select the best color scale for their work from four color palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow and Ironbow. Thanks to its IP54 certification, the B01 series is tough and durable, passing drop tests from up to 2 meters. Its built-in lithium-ion battery provides six to eight hours of continuous use and is fully recharged in just three hours.
