Optimization of the powder coating plant at the Zumtobel company as a manufacturer of lighting solutions in Dornbirn/Voralberg: For the plant built in 2007, an as-is survey and powder application technology training took place in 2008. In 2012, powder hose routing was optimized and 10 mm powder hoses were installed. Since the changeover to 10 mm powder hose, thousands of cubic meters of compressed air have been saved. The plant continues to run flawlessly, as was determined during an inspection on January 27, 2023 by Thomas Bereuter (Technical Support Surface Technology at Zumtobel), Hans Mendler (Industrial Consulting Powder Application) and Dipl.- Ing. Jürgen Habisreutinger (Head of Technical Planning at Zumtobel).
