The current tasks in the surface technology industry present companies with a number of challenges. On the one hand, there are the increasing requirements for environmental protection and sustainability, the development of new materials and technologies, the growing competitive pressure, the geopolitically triggered turnaround with higher energy prices and disrupted supply chains, as well as the increasingly gloomy economic situation since the fourth quarter of 2023 at the latest.
