parts2clean 2023: Industrial component cleaning redefined

Industrial parts and surface cleaning is changing rapidly. At the 20th anniversary edition of parts2clean from September 26 - 28, 2023, this will be taken into account with an expanded range of solutions and the new highlight topic of "High Purity".

Due to industrial structural change, various megatrends and the energy transition, the tasks and requirements in industrial parts and surface cleaning are also changing rapidly. The 20th parts2clean 2023 will take this development into account with an expanded range of solutions and the new highlight topic "High Purity". The anniversary edition of the leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning will again be held at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center in September.

Anniversary edition of parts2clean with expanded range of offerings

As the most important international meeting place for industrial parts and surface cleaning, parts2clean 2023 reflects the requirements of the various user industries and offers a globally unique portfolio of solutions. This will become even clearer at this year's anniversary event thanks to an expanded range of offerings and the new claim "Cleaning redefined". "In addition to the familiar core areas of industrial parts cleaning, we are thus also covering new and changing tasks that arise, for example, from the mobility and energy turnaround, the trends of automation, digitalization and AI, sustainability, and, in some industries, stricter regulatory requirements," adds Hendrik Engelking, Global Director at Deutsche Messe AG. "For example, cleaning solutions for electronics manufacturing, e-mobility, sensor technology, optical industry, medical and pharmaceutical technology will play a greater role." The energy efficiency of cleaning systems and processes is another area that the upcoming parts2clean will address.

High Purity - more than cleaning

For the first time in the twenty-year history of parts2clean, there will be a highlight theme at this year's edition with "High Purity". "The focus here will be on tasks that have to be solved, among other things, for complex mechanical components for the semiconductor supplier industry, in the precision optics and optoelectronics industry, thin-film technology, medical technology, as well as for vacuum-technical components for the UHV, XHV and UCV areas," Hendrik Engelking specifies. The extremely stringent specifications for ultra-fine particulate, film-chemical, organic and inorganic purity required in these areas can only be met if the entire process chain is included in the consideration. Of course, the cleaning system also plays an important role here, but factors such as the cleanliness of the pre-processes, production materials and media, handling influences and ambient conditions, for example an adapted cleanroom, are just as decisive for stably achievable results. It is also important to avoid re-contamination and cross-contamination.

Future-proof solutions for current and new requirements

"With its expanded range of solutions, as well as the highlight topic of High Purity, parts2clean continues to gain in attractiveness as the world's most important trade show for industrial parts and surface cleaning," says Hendrik Engelking. And this is also the case in industrial sectors that may not have felt addressed in the past. This is because the cross-sector and cross-material offering also enables companies to find out about cleaning applications and solutions in sectors of industry in which they have not previously been active. In addition, users from all manufacturing sectors as well as from remanufacturing and recycling will find future-proof solutions to meet current and new requirements in a stable and efficient manner.

Knowledge transfer included - bilingual expert forum

The bilingual technical forum also makes a valuable contribution to this. The simultaneously translated (German <> English) presentations by renowned speakers from science, research and industry will address current tasks and developments from various industrial sectors. "Parts2clean thus offers national and international visitors one of the most sought-after sources of knowledge for learning about trends, innovations, benchmark applications and field reports," says Hendrik Engelking. The knowledge meeting point, which is organized jointly with the Fraunhofer Cleaning Business Unit and the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT), is integrated into the leading trade fair, and participation is free of charge for visitors and exhibitors.
