Cleaning grinding
Cleaning grinding is a process used in metalworking and other industrial areas to clean and smooth the surfaces of workpieces. In this process, special grinding tools are used to remove irregularities, oxidation, rust or other impurities from the surface.
During cleaning grinding, the workpiece is usually clamped onto a sanding machine equipped with sanding belts, abrasive stones or other abrasive materials. The sanding process removes unevenness and impurities, resulting in a smooth and clean surface. The choice of suitable abrasive depends on the type of material and the desired surface finish.
Cleaning grinding is often carried out before further processing steps such as painting, coating or assembly to ensure that the workpiece meets the required quality standards. It helps to improve the surface finish and increase the durability of the products. In some cases, cleaning sanding is also used to remove old coatings or layers of paint before new ones are applied.
