Vink Chemicals at ECS 2025: Solutions for the protection of paints and coatings

Vink Chemicals' trade fair presence at ECS 2025 will focus primarily on preservatives for pot and film preservation, which can be used to extend the shelf life and usability of paints and coatings. Another focus of the trade fair appearance is the topic of sustainability: Vink Chemicals has switched the formulation of some of its proven products to more environmentally friendly raw materials from certified, sustainable production. These are the BDA-based Vink products Parmetol MBX, Parmetol SBX, Parmetol BPX, Grotan BA 21, Grotanol FF 1 N, Vinkozid BXP 10 and Vinkocide BDA 30. In production, Vink Chemicals now uses the raw material BDA or N-(3-aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3-diamine (CAS No. 2372-82-9) exclusively from an RSPO-MB certified source. The classification and labeling of the products mentioned remain unchanged by the new raw material quality, as does their high microbiological effectiveness. Vink Chemicals is also paying more attention to sustainability in the packaging and filling of its products. For example, the company uses intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and drums with up to 30% recycled material in the inner layer (green layer).

Also on display at the ECS stand will be a range of specialty chemicals such as dispersible polymer powders, defoamers, cellulose ethers and a wide variety of pigments. The Vink Chemicals team will also be presenting a new one-stop store concept: "Paints Frame Formulations". This comprehensive concept offers everything that manufacturers of paints and coatings need for development and production - from formulations and manufacturing specifications to suitable raw materials and the selection of suitable contract manufacturers. It is aimed specifically at companies that do not have their own laboratory or do not have the resources to drive forward their own developments. With Paints Frame Formulations, these manufacturers receive the support they need to bring innovative products to market. Vink Chemicals' portfolio of specialty chemicals and biocides is integrated directly into the formulations to ensure the highest quality and efficiency. Last but not least, Vink Chemicals will also be presenting the latest concepts for production hygiene at the ECS. Visitors to Vink Chemicals at ECS 2025 can also expect a generously dimensioned, newly designed exhibition stand in Hall 1, Stand 214 with a total area of 70 m2.
