VDI guideline 3457 "Emission reduction; powder coating" is being revised

After more than a year of revision, the draft of VDI guideline 3457 "Emission reduction; powder coating" will be published in spring 2024. This guideline looks at measures to reduce emissions in powder coating by increasing energy efficiency and saving resources.
The revised VDI guideline 3457 "Emission reduction; powder coating" contains information on the manufacture and composition of powder coatings as well as on the structure of the coating, the pre-treatment of surfaces, application methods for powder coatings, curing methods and plant technology. Reference is made to the laws, ordinances, administrative and other regulations applicable to the construction and operation of powder coating systems.
The draft of the guideline VDI 3457 "Emission reduction, powder coating" is available at www.vdi.de/3457.
