Richard Tscherwitschke GmbH has further developed and improved the "Galvanet" drum. It now has a doubled drum opening for faster filling and safe emptying, which ensures smooth coating processes.

Everyone knows it from everyday life: whether it's rice, potting soil, peppercorns, coffee powder or similar bulk goods - it's an advantage if the target container has a large opening so that nothing goes wrong when filling and you can easily see that nothing is left behind when emptying. Richard Tscherwitschke GmbH has further developed the "Galvanet" drum according to this principle. The standard version of the compact drum with a width across flats of 180 mm has a comparatively small opening area, which corresponds to one side of the hexagonal drum body.

Electroplating drum cleverly optimized

The optimization concept now doubles the opening on two side surfaces. At the same time, the drum lid has been designed to fit seamlessly into the hexagonal geometry without changing the drum volume - an essential prerequisite for optimum mixing of the goods. A flat, one-piece lid was therefore out of the question. Instead, the design team developed an innovative lid that fits snugly onto the drum body and can be securely closed. New twist locks ensure a high contact pressure, which prevents goods from being trapped between the lid and the drum body.
