Teledyne Flir: Si124-LD Plus acoustic camera for compressed air leak detection
Teledyne Flir, as an extension of its Si124 acoustic camera series, introduces the Si124-LD Plus. The new model provides professional inspectors with an optimized user interface and software features to locate small compressed air leaks faster and more accurately than before.
As usual, the Teledyne Flir Si124-LD Plus is designed to be ergonomically operated with one hand. In addition, a number of enhancements optimize deployment options and efficiency, including an AutoFilter: This automatically selects the best filter for locating small leaks that may otherwise go undetected, while speeding up inspection by eliminating irrelevant background noise. Another feature is AutoDistance: this automatically measures the distance to the leak to allow reliable estimation of the leak rate in real time from a distance of up to five meters from the spot. Add to that continuous auto-correction: it optimizes leak detection performance to locate even small leaks from 0.016 l/min to 0.004 l/min (0.016 l/min = 0.00057 cfm, 0.004 l/min = 0.00014 cfm).

This acoustic camera also features an enhanced user interface (UI) and is fully integrated with powerful FLIR Thermal Studio software for post-inspection analysis and reporting. As another important feature, the Si124-LD Plus can quantify leaks both in-camera and software-based, allowing inspectors to better prioritize repairs and more easily justify the expense.
