SV Veranstaltungen becomes Ultima Media Germany

SV Veranstaltungen, organizer of the Filmic Contamination Conference and Technical Cleanliness Conference, becomes Ultima Media Germany. With the change of name, the publishing house is realigning its range of events for the specialist audience
Süddeutscher Verlag Hüthig Fachinformationen is expanding its portfolio to include Ultima Media Germany GmbH. This company will commence operations with immediate effect and will continue the business of the former SV Veranstaltungen GmbH under the name Ultima Media Germany. The company, which has more than 50 years of experience in event management, currently offers over 50 B2B events in the German market in the fields of production, mechanical engineering, automotive, medicine, insurance, finance and the environment, including the Filmic Contamination Conference and the Technical Cleanliness Conference. The company would like to further sharpen its established premium positioning in the German market environment in the future and sees the increasing internationalization of its target groups as a key area of development. "Many events are already held in English. With our very clearly positioned and well-known brands, which ideally address our target groups, we are already increasingly active in the international arena and have been able to develop international offshoots of the German events, for example in the USA and Asia. The new name will help us to do this," says Moritz Warth, Managing Director of Ultima Media Germany and Ultima Media Ltd.
To this end, the company will intensify its existing, successful cooperation with its sister company, Ultima Media Ltd. in London, which already operates internationally (including in the USA, Mexico and China). Furthermore, Ultima Media Germany will continue to systematically expand its portfolio, taking into account the existing potential within the entire publishing group - also in editorial terms. Karl Ulrich, Managing Director of Specialist Information at Süddeutscher Verlag, sees multiple potential in the realignment: "We can now significantly strengthen the synergies we have already realized. We benefit from efficient working methods and new formats, across our target groups, market segments and with our partners." The change in the focus of the event business makes it possible to develop a new type of offering for B2B customers: a high-quality, year-round and cross-channel information experience, always with a focus on events and supplemented by additional editorial content in print and digital.
