Lola Cars and Surventis have entered into a partnership for the T70S program. Surventis’ Glasurit brand is supplying a water-based coating system based on the Glasurit 100 Line for this limited-edition reinterpretation of the Lola T70, which is limited to 16 vehicles.

The T70S lineup includes 16 vehicles, available in either track or street versions. The T70S is designed as a competition model with 530 PS and a top speed of 203 mph (approximately 327 km/h). The T70S GT delivers 500 PS and reaches up to 200 mph (approximately 322 km/h). It retains the race car’s fundamental DNA but has been adapted for use on both the road and the racetrack. Both vehicles utilize the Lola Natural Composite System (LNCS), a patent-pending body material that is free of petrochemicals and combines natural fibers with a plant-based resin. Surventis supplies a water-based Glasurit coating system for the composite components and metal parts, including primers, fillers, base coats, and clear coats.

The repair paint system, based on the Glasurit 100 Line, was selected for its color accuracy, surface quality, and efficient application. The collaboration also includes training on modern application methods and spray technologies. This is intended to reduce the amount of coating material required, shorten application times, and minimize the environmental impact of the manufacturing process. According to Lola Cars, the collaboration aims to combine historical authenticity with modern manufacturing processes and sustainable materials. Surventis particularly highlights the color accuracy, durable finishes, and efficient application of the Glasurit 100 Line. At the same time, the goal is to reduce material consumption and the coating’s environmental footprint.
