Sika is relaunching and further developing its corrosion protection portfolio under the name Sika Corro-Systems. In addition, a new generation of mixing equipment is now available from specialty retailers.

Corrosion protection safeguards metal components in a wide variety of applications against weather-related damage. It is essential for structural stability, prevents safety risks caused by material failure, and extends the service life of the entire structure. Sika Deutschland CH AG & Co KG has decades of experience in corrosion protection and offers high-performance products and systems. The newly launched and further developed Sika Corro systems include various one- and two-component products for primer and topcoats. Products for corrosion protection in tank construction, for drinking water supply, and specialty coatings, as well as compatible thinners and cleaners, round out the product line. Applications in steel construction include masts, towers, industrial buildings, tanks, machinery and equipment, support and load-bearing structures, facades, etc.

Corrosion Protection Portfolio Expanded to Include Mixing Equipment

In addition, Sika is expanding its established corrosion protection portfolio with a new generation of mixing equipment, which is now available directly from specialty retailers. These devices enable exact, reproducible color mixing through precise dosing, as well as rapid availability in suitable container sizes. Smaller containers mean less excess material and greater flexibility on the job site. Application reliability increases thanks to precise dosing. Last but not least, workflows can be accelerated through shorter tinting times. “We have revamped and further developed our corrosion protection portfolio. To this end, we are introducing a new generation of mixing equipment to the market that makes application more precise, consistent, and faster. The benefits are numerous—precise, reproducible color mixtures, high application reliability, and accelerated workflows,” summarizes Sven Dornhege, Head of Marketing for Paint and Flooring Wholesale. “Our customers benefit from the combination of proven products, advanced technology, and a strong retail network.”
