Sherwin-Williams: Polyester powder coating for architecture

Sherwin-Williams introduces its new Anodite Plus collection, a new generation of polyester powder coatings for the architectural market. The coatings have been developed to enhance aluminum and steel substrates for both interior and exterior applications.
With 16 fresh colors, the Anodite Plus Ultra-Matte series from Sherwin-Williams offers a smooth, matte, metallic look that mimics the colors of anodizing - but with the added benefit of concealing surface imperfections and defects in the metal. Anodite Plus coatings combine the beauty of anodizing with the benefits of powder coatings, according to the manufacturer. They also meet the Qualicoat Class 2 and GSB Florida 3 requirements set by the quality associations, which is very important for this market.
Powder coating with anodized look for architectural applications
Anodite Plus offers improved color consistency while being extremely lightfast and weather resistant. The collection is also characterized by the following properties: Excellent resistance to UV radiation, protection of structural integrity, outstanding robustness for outdoor use (ideal for residential, light commercial, industrial or institutional buildings, as well as for use on store fronts, entrance systems, windows, handrails and photovoltaic solar panels) and lower gloss levels than standard matt powder coatings, with excellent flow properties.
