Rösler becomes the exclusive global sales partner for the DLyte carbide series from Gpainnova for the machining of carbide cutting tools. The DryLyte process, also known as dry electropolishing, is much gentler than drag finishing and ensures a significantly more homogeneous surface finish.

Rösler Oberflächentechnik GmbH and the Spanish technology group Gpainnova are expanding their partnership: After Rösler has already held the exclusive distribution rights for Gpainnova's DLyte industrial machining systems on the German market for some time, the world market leader Rösler is now also taking over the worldwide distribution for the Spanish technology group's carbide cutting tool series as well as the individual process development and servicing of the machines. In addition, Gpainnova is working closely with Rösler on the further development of the so-called DLyte carbide systems and the underlying DryLyte process. The carbide systems work with the patented DryLyte technology for the surface treatment of carbides and are intended to replace the drag finishing process as the standard in the machining of carbide cutting tools, thus ensuring even more efficient and better tools. By expanding its partnership with Gpainnova, Rösler is making further inroads into the tool machining sector, one of the company's new focus markets. "We at the Rösler Group are delighted to be able to expand our portfolio in the field of cutting edge machining with such an advanced and promising technology. We are convinced that DLyte is clearly superior to the drag finishing process in terms of quality, cycle time, handling and cost-effectiveness. This technology will be able to replace conventional drag finishing systems on a large scale as the most frequently used process in cutting edge machining and will quickly establish itself on the market," says Alexander Fitz, Head of Sales for mass finishing technology at Rösler.

In contrast to traditional processes, the DryLyte process works much more gently and without a mechanically abrasive approach. This offers our customers a new type of technology that removes the material on the basis of an ion exchange and thus produces a homogeneous cutting edge rounding and smooth surface. "The process is the future of cutting edge machining," says Alexander Fitz. "The technological development behind it is outstanding. We are absolutely convinced that we can offer our customers a technological advantage with this extended partnership," adds Fitz. The Spanish technology company is also convinced of the cooperation with the global market leader Rösler: "The agreement between Gpainnova and a global market leader like Rösler represents an important milestone for both companies. By combining our expertise in the field of surface treatment, especially in the treatment of carbide cutting tools, we want to offer our customers unique advantages," says Pau Sarsanedas, CEO and co-founder of Gpainnova. "This strategic alliance not only expands our market reach, but also allows us to support a broader range of customers by offering them the opportunity to leverage the collective knowledge and capabilities of our companies and unlock a variety of opportunities for innovation and growth," concludes Sarsanedas.
