Reiter Oberflächentechnik will be presenting its new AGR-E air atomizing electrostatic gun at PaintExpo 2026. Highlights include a quick-change device, low weight and precise and short switching frequencies; the automatic gun is suitable for coating different surfaces and geometries.

The new AGR-E air atomizing electrostatic gun from Reiter GmbH + Co. KG Oberflächentechnik in Winnenden, Germany, is characterized by a gun change in seconds, precise and short switching frequencies, a low weight of around 300 grams and excellent rinsing properties for large application widths (application rate). The AGR-E automatic gun was developed for the electrostatic application of coating materials. A voltage of up to 90 kV is applied to the gun electrode and generates an electrostatic field between the atomizer and the earthed coating object. The guns in this series are suitable for solvent-based or water-based coating materials.

Reiter electrostatic gun with quick-change device

The electrostatic charge enables coating materials to be applied effectively and evenly to the front, corners, edges and back of workpieces. These guns are therefore ideally suited for coating different surfaces and geometries. One of the advantages of the AGR-E gun is the quick-change device, which makes it possible to quickly remove the gun from the gun carrier, which contains all the material, air and high-voltage lines. Adapters for use on Hollow-Wrist or Flexiarm robots, automatic machines (lifting devices) or tripods round off the package. Reiter Oberflächentechnik will be present at PaintExpo in Karlsruhe in Hall 2, Stand 2102.
