Qwair: Specialist for industrial wastewater and exhaust air treatment seeks investor

Due to difficulties in the wake of the Corona pandemic and bad debt losses in a business in China, Qwair had to file for insolvency proceedings at the competent district court in Heilbronn. In order to continue and further develop the business, the Qwair Group urgently needs fresh liquidity. For this reason, the company is looking for an investor together with the court-appointed preliminary insolvency administrator. "We are looking for a strong partner with network, know-how and sufficient financial means to stabilize the business operations and lead the company into a steady future," says the preliminary insolvency administrator, attorney Lutz Lohmann from the law firm Ernestus Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. Attorney Lohmann has been in office since September 20, 2022, and has already gained a good overview of the company and its initial economic situation. On this basis, he is convinced that an investment in the Qwair Group is worthwhile and that the company has good growth prospects with appropriate support.

The clear objective is to continue business operations at the location and to implement further growth steps. "Our good reputation, our motivated team and our future-oriented technology are outstanding arguments for an investment in Qwair," Managing Director Matthias Enzenhofer is also convinced. He is a graduate engineer for air conditioning and ventilation technology and founded the company together with partners in 2016. The focus of Qwair Group is on customized systems for every customer requirement. "Our products are superior to conventional filter technologies on various levels. With Qwair Group, environmental protection is cost savings," says Enzenhofer, explaining the company's unique selling point. He is certain that the company will be able to actively exploit its growth potential in opening up international markets and new customer groups with a suitable partner.
