At Plasmatreat, Lukas and Magnus Buske—representing the second generation—have taken over the day-to-day management of the family-owned company. At the same time, Plasmatreat is expanding its technology portfolio to include the Aurora-Plasma low-pressure plasma solution.
Since mid-2025, Lukas Buske and Magnus Buske have served as managing directors, each responsible for their respective business divisions. Both have held operational leadership positions at Plasmatreat for many years and have played a key role in shaping the company’s technological and international growth. Company founder Christian Buske has gradually handed over operational responsibility to his sons over the past few months. This transition symbolizes both continuity and new momentum. A visible result of this development is the introduction of Aurora-Plasma, Plasmatreat’s new low-pressure plasma technology. Since early 2026, it has complemented the existing portfolio of Openair Plasma and PlasmaPlus and expanded the possibilities for industrial surface treatment. As a result, Plasmatreat now offers an even broader range of plasma technologies for a wide variety of requirements in research, development, and series production.
