With Optris Connect, Optris is launching a new software platform for PI and Xi thermal imaging cameras. The software was developed to make it easier to get started with infrared thermography while providing powerful features for monitoring and camera configuration. A modern user interface allows for the display of thermal images, temperature profiles, alarms, and camera data within a single working environment. The software is ready for use in just a few seconds. “Optris Connect is the next step in the evolution of our software,” explains Sascha Kienitz, CEO of Optris. The goal is to create a platform that meets the needs of both beginners and experienced users and can be flexibly expanded to accommodate future technologies.
Optris Connect for Multi-Camera Operation
A key feature of Optris Connect is its support for multiple cameras. The software automatically detects compatible devices on the network and enables the parallel operation of multiple USB and Ethernet cameras within a single working environment. Thermal images can be displayed side by side, while temperature data from multiple cameras can be analyzed together or separately. A guided network configuration also simplifies setup and helps resolve common connection issues. Advanced analysis functions are initially reserved for the PIX Connect 3 software. Optris Connect thus forms the foundation for a software platform that can be further expanded in the future and is available to users free of charge, without a license or subscription model.
