At Nittmann Filter, the second generation took over management of the company on July 1, 2026. Company founders Siegfried and Karin Nittmann retired after more than 30 years. Going forward, Manuel and Kerstin Nittmann will lead the family business.

On July 1, 2026, a generational transition took place at Nittmann Filter. After more than three decades at the helm of the company, the founders, Siegfried and Karin Nittmann, have retired. Their son, Manuel Nittmann, and his wife, Kerstin Nittmann, are taking over the management of the family-owned business. Siegfried Nittmann founded the company more than 30 years ago and, together with his wife, developed it into a provider of filter solutions for the paint processing industry. In total, he has more than 50 years of professional experience in the industry. He will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity.

Nittmann Filter to Remain Family-Owned

Manuel Nittmann has been an authorized signatory of the company since 2013 and has played a key role in its further development in recent years. This includes, among other things, the digitization of business processes, the modernization of the company, and the expansion of new sales channels. Kerstin Nittmann will join him in taking on responsibility for managing the company. She will oversee accounting and human resources, as well as other business administration tasks and sales. According to the company, the existing quality of its products and services, as well as its personal collaboration with customers and business partners, will remain unchanged. The existing team in sales, purchasing, and logistics will continue to be available as points of contact. On the occasion of the handover, Siegfried Nittmann stated: “I am very pleased that our company will remain in family hands in the future and that the values we have stood for over many years will be carried forward.” At the same time, he expressed his confidence that Manuel and Kerstin Nittmann will successfully continue to develop the company with new ideas and a strong sense of responsibility.
